We are delighted to announce that the Charity has been ranked 34th in The Sunday Times Top 100 Best Not for Profit Organisations to Work For.
Chief Executive Graham Hooper commented: “This is a fantastic achievement for the Charity and I am delighted that everyone’s commitment to making it a great place to work have been recognised in this way.”
The Charity exists to support civil servants, past and present, when times are tough, listening without judgement and offering practical, financial and emotional support. In 2018 we delivered 48,000 instances of help and £2.2 million of financial assistance. The whole Charity works together to provide this help. It wouldn’t be possible without the dedication, passion and sheer hard work of our staff and it’s right that we continue to champion a really supportive culture and a great work environment.
The Sunday Times Top 100 is derived from survey responses to a number of questions, regarding how employees feel about their organisation’s leadership teams, their own scope for personal growth within the organisation, their pay and benefits and how their organisation looks after their health and wellbeing. The research is independently conducted by best companies.
