This week has seen temperatures drop rapidly as we've been firmly reminded that a harsh winter is upon us.

For those struggling with their finances, keeping a house warm at this time of year can be very difficult.

That's why we're highlighting all the help we have available to you this winter, so that you may enjoy a worry free Christmas and New Year period.

Energy and water bills

Yes, it's getting colder. And once again we wait until the last minute to put the heating on. But many people at this time of year will not be putting the heating on, so that they can put food on the table. If this is a reality for you, then get in touch.

If you're in arrears with your supplier and haven't told them about your situation yet, then speak to them. They have designated help available for their customers and will do all they can to get you back on track.

If you're paying off your arrears slowly, have you thought about switching? Even if you have money owing on an account you can often switch to a better rate. And even those with pre-payment meters are not always tied down. So make sure you check
