On Wednesday 17 October the Charity, along with six canine friends, launched our new Wellbeing Hub and DogBot at the Ministry of Justice.
Graham Hooper, Chief Executive, said: “The launch event at the Ministry of Justice was a great success; we were overwhelmed by the reaction of staff who interacted with the dogs throughout the day. We hope that our campaign will help to raise awareness of our new digital wellbeing tools and that we can continue to help as many of our Civil Service community as we can. Thank you to everyone who helped make it possible and who continue to help us spread the word.”
Our new Wellbeing Hub is there to help improve people’s wellbeing and mental health, bringing together our most popular resources in an easy to use format. Our interactive chatbot counsellor, affectionately known as ‘DogBot’, provides a routed conversation that is designed to guide people to the most appropriate support available.
“We hope that DogBot and the Wellbeing hub will provide new and easier ways for civil servants to access the support they need, and to know the routes to take when they need further support around their mental health and wellbeing.” Kevin Filby, Group Head of Innovation and Service Design said.
DogBot is already proving to be a huge success with over 200 conversations on its first full day on the job.
