Financial Capability Week is an annual event that celebrates the work being done to improve people's grasp of their money, and support their ongoing financial wellbeing.
Our attitudes, knowledge, and motivation all influence the way we manage our money. It’s not just about what we know but whether we have the willingness, confidence and opportunity to act. Our Financial Capability programme can give you the advice and information you need to do so.
Our online fact sheets offer advice on how to deal with priority debts and our trained advisors will be able to offer you confidential and impartial advice and support. If you don’t know where to start take a look at our Budget Calculator – it’s incredibly simple to use and will signpost you to tailored advice and information depending on your result.
As part of Financial Capability Week, we’re running several workplace presentations across the Civil Service. These include advice and information on:
- budgeting and financial planning
- borrowing and credit
- protecting your family and possessions
- managing debt
- planning for the future
If you’re interested in hosting a workplace presentation like this, please do get in touch.
Whether you’re struggling with unmanageable debt, trying to save, looking to invest or simply want to learn how to manage your budget better, The Charity for Civil Servants can help you make the most of your money.
It’s your money – make it matter!
