Civil Service Community Award
At the heart of any community are people doing good things to support others. And that's exactly what these awards recognise; friends, peers and colleagues who help to strengthen our community.
This could be activity in or out of the office, it could be a charity volunteer or a group of people you know making a difference. It could be any kind of activity, from any current, former or retired civil servant.
A few examples; setting up support networks, running drop-in sessions, running wellbeing events, finding creative ways to support the Charity, motivating others through volunteering or fundraising.
It is our chance to celebrate the people who go above and beyond every day to enhance your community to positively impact those around them.
The Connie Henry Award
This prestigious award is the highest accolade from the Charity, celebrating outstanding contributions to the Charity. Awarded to one of our volunteers (or a group of) who reflect the enthusiasm and spirit of the late volunteer Connie Henry. The winner(s) show real commitment and dedication to support the work of the Charity and are driven by a motivation to help us reach others.
The Rose D'Costa Award
From bungee jumping to bake sales, sports days to soft toy raffles; we’ve all been involved in a fundraiser of some sorts. This award however is given to a particular individual or group who have excelled in their efforts to raise money for the Charity either by amount or innovative ways of doing it. Rose D’Costa, a long-term fundraiser for the Charity, will present the award herself on the day.
