Those formally invited to the AGM are the Council of Members as
set out in our Articles of Association.
The Council Members include the Board of Trustees, one
individual nominated by each recognised Committee/Support Group,
individuals representing government departments, associated
organisations and other stakeholders.
Invitations to the AGM are also extended to those nominated for
an award or who are presenting a cheque or who are invited in
recognition of a particular contribution during the previous
year.
Other volunteers are very welcome to attend the AGM as guests,
if they notify us in advance.
Only the Council of Members (see above) are eligible to
vote.
To avoid misunderstanding, expenses for attending the AGM will
only be reimbursed to Council Members, those specifically invited
for their contribution, and anyone who is presenting a cheque or
receiving an award.
Individuals are expected to minimise claims, and for clarity,
overnight stays are not expected.
