Stuart and his family live on the South Coast but were
victims of floods.
We received an emergency request for help when they lost many of
their possessions to the water in their house, at one point 8 feet
deep.
The Charity was able to make an emergency payment of £500
to see the family through until the insurance company was able to
assess the damage and settle their claim.

If you find yourself unable to cope financially - we may be able
to help.
We are able to give financial assistance to people depending on
their particular circumstances. Every application sent in
to The Charity for Civil Servants is treated solely on
the basis of need, and you do not have to be a donor to
the Charity to get help. In some emergencies a payment can be
made within 24 hours of the application.
